Ganesa, the cherubic elephant-headed Hindu God of all Good Luck & Good Beginnings, is the subject of this CD-ROM containing 108 different images of Ganesa, each drawn photographically from a unique 'found' vernacular rendering in wood, earth or stone, and digitally re-imaged against new backgrounds. Each image is available in three different formats for the personal use of the buyer of this CD-ROM. Today, Ganesa pops up in iconography everywhere around India and the world in innumerable variations that grow continually every year, and millions of people around the world harbor at least one idol or image of him, if not an entire collection, somewhere in the workplace and/or home.
